Art reflection

My found object art is squid/octopus. His name is Octosquid  Made in New Zealand.
He is made out of a balloon covered in paper mâché then painted and his legs are cut from cardboard tubes. I then painted them and attached them to a circle of cardboard as legs. I also had a tube in the middle of the squid to hold him up.
I then cut out some eyes and taped them onto the painted face of Octosquid.

What went well, I was proud of what I did and finished my sculpture.
What did not go well, I expected the squid to look different, better, so I had to change my plan a bit so the Octosquid could stand up and still look good.

What would I do differently? I wanted the eyes to glow. So maybe I could use glow in  dark paint or led lights.

My inspiration was I went on a found art sculpture website.
